Day 29: A song from your childhood
Savage Garden - I Want You
Both Sabi and I have bittersweet memories of this song. Our lives were falling apart at this time and we would watch this video and a bunch of others on VH1 just to escape and get some sort of strength.
What makes me feel even better now, is that there was some other kid somewhere else in the country, doing the same exact thing, at the same exact time, to the same song, for the same reason.
Abuse makes you feel totally alone and I almost cried when I first discovered that we were doing this together before we even met each other.
